What do your words breed?

There is so much good in the worst of us. There is so much bad in the best of us. It behooves all of us not to talk about the rest of us...
I loved that.. I read it on someone else's blog thus inspiring me to write about something that often causes us to fall.
There is always someone who has to waste air on non-productive conversation. It is sad but true when there is so much good to talk about we reduce ourselves to breed harm upon other with our words.
We stand in judgement of someone. We give our negative opinion. Worse we just open our mouth and wound our brother and our sister without reason or cause.
If we stoped and thought about the effect of our words on other's, would it stop you? Gossip and rumors or repeating someones past which is under the blood is not only a sin, but a place I don't want to stand in.
Lord let me see the good and see past the fault and see the need. That is my prayer. It brings tears to my eyes when I think about the things people have repeated or said that caused my brother or my sister pain, suffering, wounds and worst of all bitterness to be born in their hearts. Bitterness kills souls. Only God can heal the wounds of bitterness.
It can take years to repair the damage your mouth created in one minute.
I pray when you read this if you have been a victim of harsh words by anyone the best thing you can do is forgive them. It is the hardest thing to do. In the word it says to pray for them that spitefully use you and speak all manner of evil against you. PRAYER WORKS!
Ive done it. Don't lose your salvation or let someone rob you of your salvation over bitterness. God's good to you, far out weighs any hurtful words anyone could have ever spoken about you.
Remember, its all about you and Jesus. Let people talk. They always will. Sing with me, Be careful little mouth what you say, be careful little mouth what you say, theres a Father up above looking down with tender love, so be careful little mouth what you say....
The next time you go to waste air by polluting it with poisen about someone else, do us all a favor and save your breath!!! Use your words to encourage and uplift not to tear down. Speak peace, love, kindness and hope. Lord when I open my mouth let it be You that they hear. Let your words breed life not death!
