God is Real....

My family has been meeting and praying together for my grandfather who is gone. A catholic thing of some sort. Out of respect I have went. I dont repeat the hail mary's but I do say the Lord's Prayer so they dont think Im being totally disrespectful.
My husband just sits there and ACTS completely confused on purpose and says nothing. I have to pinch myself not to laugh at him. They cook a great dinner which is part of my motivation to go. I get out of cooking. I know that probably sounds horrible, but its the truth and the food makes it worth every moment.. lol
So, last night we go and my word... Chicken mole, green chicken enchiladas, rice, beans and pie..... I thought about saying the hail mary for a brief moment.. It was so good..Im kidding. lol OH Lord. After they were done with the rituals, my aunt said something shocking. She said ok now does anyone have anything they want to pray about in their way?? One of my other aunts asked for prayers for our family and my other aunt asked prayers for her daughter and all the troops in Iraq where my cousin is stationed. I jumped in and asked for prayer for my friend Jen's baby Luke. Then they asked me or Albert to pray. SHOCKING!!!!! These are catholic to the grave people. Albert prayed such a great prayer as everyone prayed to themselves.
Then my uncles wife (my aunt) asked me to pray for her because she said she can feel the holy spirit when I pray. I did. She started to cry at the table. I hugged her. My family started to fidget. Then my aunt gave a praise report without knowing. During the funeral one of my nieces who I adore sat down with me and my favorite cousin Ted. She told us she didnt believe in God. My cousin and I talked to her and told her prayer works. My boy cousin is the only one in my family who actually has people pray for him all the time. He wont go to church or anything and says Im crazy all the time but he will tell the victory outreach guys when he sees them to lay hands on his checkbooks and always asks me to pray for his business when things are slow. I tell him all the time thats why he is blessed. He agrees. Anyhow he asked me to talk to Alex because he didnt want her not to believe in God it bothered him. So I told her a few stories. Then I told her, "Alex, I challenge you to do something for one week." I told her to say to God even if she didnt believe, "God if you are real show yourself to me. Let me see that you exist" I told her to do this for a week. She lives in LA. Soooo last night (about a week after our conversation) at the prayer thing my aunt told us Alex's mom called and said she took Alex to a church that had live music and the people were worshipping God and Alex started to cry and couldnt stop. When they left Alex said "Mom I know God is real now just like Auntie Noel said" He is Real...... I see God beginning to work in my family. They didnt go to our kind of church, but hey whatever it takes. She is headed in the right direction. It is soooooo awesome! If you only knew what a miracle this truly is. It is amazing..Thank you Lord... Everything I went through was for a reason. God will always turn things around for the good... He is so real... So faithful and I love the Lord so much I could never put into words the way I feel about my Jesus. He is my greatest friend....

I killed a Fly..

AAAhhhhhhrrrrrGGGGGGG!!!! The enemy has been in full buzz mode today! I was so disappointed in my daughter's choice this morning before she left to school. We encountered a life lesson to be continued when she gets home.. As they grow so do the challenges of life. Can I get an amen?? My husband was fussing. The little devils were just an irritating noise today. Buzzing around. Like flys. I HATE FLYS!!! They are so absolutely disgusting. I wish spirits that make noise were visible like flys so I could take a fat book and smash them to smithereens!! Watch the blood and guts splatter!!! No I havent gone insane Im just fed up with the noise of the devil and I want to give him a kick in the teeth.
Flys are like bad spirits. They are so annoying. They come in uninvited and spread their gross bacteria on your food and ruin it and buzz around your head and make an awful sound. Then I think how much more power we have over the fly. If we aim right and are quick enough we can kill them right away before they can ruin anything else. I dont know about you, but I chuck the food if a fly lands on it. They are just grosser than gross. Yak!! Blah.. Then I thought about how flys dont bother some people. They can land on their food. Buzz around their head. Some people just tolerate the fly. NOT ME LYING DISGUSTING flys or spirits.... GET OUT!!! In the spirit of prayer and the word I can kill this annoying opposition and in life, You can buzz around but you cant hide. I will hunt you down and kill you quickly. A fly doesn't stand a chance around me. I wont rest until its dead. Thus stirring me up spiritually using this analogy. I will say to the spirits buzzing around my family,
You better look out satan look out! You better look out saten look out.. For I come to you in the name of the Lord so look out satan look out!!!!! SPLAT!! Your dead!!! lol

Thank God for the Mellows...

So I think I'm stopping for a drink at the gas station because I'm thirsty.
God has an agenda of His own. I over hear this older gentleman talking to the clerk about God and of course I cant help myself but to make a comment about the Lord.
The older gentleman Henry starts to talk with me about his son and how he is incarcerated and he just wont change. So I told him, "sir many of people have said they would never change and I know you think there is no hope for your son, but I am telling you we did not run into you by accident tonight and God can change your son." I told him I wanted him to meet my husband and I wanted to meet his wife who was out in the car waiting for him. My husband sees me leading the man out and gets out of the car fully aware of whats happening. I introduce myself and my husband to Rita and we talk some more and I can see the pain in Mr Mellows eyes over his son, I begin to tell him that God sees his pain and God will not forget his son and he started to cry so did I. Then his wife started to cry and he told us part of the story of how he had adopted this son and he knew in his heart God gave him this boy and he was so worried this man who is 39 now, will never change his life and my husband began to encourage the couple and say " sir you don't know where God brought me from. I used to be just like your son. I know what you are going through. The man looked at us and he said, " Honey tell these people what Ive been asking you , do you feel it? something is going on. He told us that he has been praying to God to tell him what he is supposed to do with his life. He said, "I am 76 and I know I'm supposed to do something and my wife to, but I don't know what it is. We told him sir, "that's why God sent us here to talk to you and invite you to a place that will change your life. He begin to ask about out church and if he had to be a member for someone to teach him more about the Bible? Can you imagine this??? It happened, just like I'm saying. We talked some more and I asked them if we could stop and pray for them and their son. He walked towards us and his frail wife who has a hurting back slowing lifted herself from the passenger seat where she was sitting and we all joined hands right there at valero gas station and my husband and I began to pray over them and their situation. They both thanked us and gave us their number and said they looked forward to hearing from us. We were late to church. We had God write us an excuse.. ;) My husband and I were just amazed.. It was such a blessing to be able to be used by God this way. Amazing!!!!!! Then the missionary preached about FAITH AND MIRACLES.. I couldn't of asked for God to be more personal to me than He was last night. His message rocked my soul!! Everything God has been saying for the past couple of months to me came out of his mouth.. God is so good and so personal. Sooo I am thrilled to say we are going to be teaching the Mellows a Bible study and I'm here to say , Don't give up on God! This man is seeking to know God at 76!!! God will not forget you! There is a lost and dying world hungry for God. Age makes no difference at all. God sees the heart. God heard that man. God answered his cry. Thank you Lord for the Mellows....

The Outcome is Victorious!

I started taking two steps forward and Wham! Death, persecution, sickness, and then some. Yes, the devil definitely knows my name. I set a date to start the children's choir. I started to make an extra trip to the church to pray. I started to speak in Faith what God has put on my heart. Death visits my family. I am faced with heavy persecution over my beliefs by the ones I love the most. I stand.. Sickness plagues myself, my daughter and now my husband. God wakes me up at 4:00 am Monday and tells me the enemy is coming in like a flood to keep me from what God has intended me to do but He will raise up standard against the enemy of my soul. Sunday I made it to church spiritually wounded and my church family prayed for me and then the choir sang a song about God being the Lifter of my head. Though thousands come against me. God began to speak to me that He was my greatest friend and good would come out of all the persecution by my family and God would bring salvation out of my persecution. Healing virtue begin to flow through my heart that was full of hurt and pain. You can never imagine how painful it can be to listen to your family speak ill of all that you believe and become hostile towards you because I refuse to agree I'm crazy and stand for what I believe. I don't say mean things back I just walk away and pray for God to give me the strength to endure. Scriptures of comfort fly through my mind while I'm in the fire that keep me. A year ago if I had been through all of this I would not of turned to God in my misery. I just wasn't this strong I remember looking at all the alcohol at my cousins house at the gathering we had after the funeral and thanking God He delivered me from the chains that kept me bound. I thanked God I had no desire to drink or medicate my pain with anything but Jesus. I realize today God prepared me for all of this. Being in this church has made me stronger than Ive been in years. The prayers of the church kept me. I know the devil is after me because God has appointed me to a high calling in prayer. I felt it when I went a couple Sundays ago. The foundation of the city of Hollister began to shake under the prayers of myself and Sis TinaV and Sis TinaE. I even experienced a new tounge. It was powerful prayer!
So.... here's my answer. My comeback....
Pray harder for me, because even though I'm sick I refuse to lay down. You can bring death, persecution, sickness but I will still pray.. I will still do the children's choir. I will still love my family. I will still do what Jesus has called me to do. So please pray for me that I get a quick and complete healing. Pray for my family who is also under attack. GOD IS GREATER!!!
This too shall pass. This all just motivates me to fight harder and to pray more. I am most grateful for being in such a better frame of mind. God knew to move my family and place us exactly where He did. He knew I needed to be strong to be able to endure this storm. Being in Hollister has literally saved my soul from utter destruction. God has put so much back into us since we have been here. I could of never stood through this without the virtue God has put back into me. Without the prayers and support our church family has given us. Without the pastor and pastors wife God has put over our souls. Without the love and nurturing that has been shown to our family. You will never know how this change has affected us for the good. Thank you Bishop and Sister Nelson for your wisdom and direction and thank you Pastor and Sis Hurst for taking us in and providing the love and encouragement we needed to get to where we "STAND" in "VICTORY" today. Thank you Lord for loving me so much...
Had it not been for your grace and mercy and unfailing love I would not of made it here today to claim Victory in Your Blessed Name.

Jesus is on His Way.. Are you Ready?

God has a purpose for everything... This whole deal with death has stirred my spirit. I know God intended for this tragedy to push me into a spiritual reality. Yes my uncle was sick and my grandfather was old, but life is gift that can be taken in an instant. It is not to be taken for granted and to be used wisely. We are getting ready to have a huge revival with a man who is very radical in his message. When I listened to part of his CD last night something snapped inside of my spirit. Something begin to rise up in me and his words began to breed a spiritual awakening in me. My prayers the last few weeks have been to wake up the church.. This spirit of casualness has to go. I feel it in my spirit and God has been talking to me and telling me, "Don't they know I will come like a thief in the night?" Tell my people I am coming. WAKE UP!!! God kept saying to me over and over. He meant for my spirit to wake up and rise up and to take His words to the city of Hollister and tell the lost He is coming. I know we have heard this all of our lives and we witness here and there, but there is an urgency in my heart to stop being casual about it. I feel like bursting out and preaching on the street corner and screaming from the top of my lungs, Get READY !!!! God is coming!!! It's time to stop being polite and politically correct. Someone has to get bold and tell it like it is. Our city is lost and going to hell. WE are the ones who are responsible to reach them before its too late. I am sometimes so distracted with keeping my own family saved I forget about the millions of those around me who are lost and need me to wake up and forget about myself and throw them a life line so to speak. I wish I could take the city by it's shoulders and shake it and say WAKE UP!!!!! Then I realize we, the church, has to wake up first and get it together and get prayed up and full of the Holy Ghost and then we can be sent out into this city and reach the lost and dying souls. I'm not a preacher but I sure wish I could preach this message burning in my soul today. Are you ready? Get Ready! God is coming and our city needs us to wake up and tell them Jesus is coming. We don't have time to waste. We have to pray like we never have. We have to fast like we never have. We have to sacrifice like we never have. To much given, much is required. God is sending Bro. Max Maddox to Hollister for a reason. It is our job to prepare the way for him. This is God sending this man to help us save our city. He will give us tools, but we have to be prepared to pay the price for OUR city. God gave us this city, now we have to take it by force...I am so fired up about this.. I cant wait to get to prayer to begin to intercede again for this city. To travail for the lost souls of this city. That is my position in this boot camp. Prayer warrior... Who wants to sign up????? I know I'm intense today, but I don't apologize. God has blessed me by waking me up and giving me a burning desire to win our city before its to late. The time we think we have is gone.....

Peace in the Midst..

Someone is praying for you.. Someone is praying for you.. When you feel your all alone and your heart might break in two.. Remember someone is praying for you..
That song is on my heart this morning. Someone must be praying for me. Thank you..
So many changes in such a small gap of time. During this time of loss, I have moved my daughter's school and her after school care. Yesterday the poor child was so traumatised. I felt terrible for her. I took her to her new school located right by my work and she was in tears. I was crying inside.
Her new teacher was all prepared for her. I called at 10:00 am she was fine. I went at lunch she was wonderful. My heart was so relieved. Those people at the school probably thought OMG here comes that mother again. I am firm believer in spot checking. lol Anyhow. Her teacher Mrs. Howell said " You were right she is everything you said and more!" "I love her." That teacher got an A+ from me.. :)
So all in all God worked everything out for the good.
I can take death and sorrow and whatever we have to go through in this life, but I have to know my daughter is safe and happy and well adjusted or I just cant deal. Thats what I cant take. My weakness I guess you could say.
God just smoothed it all out. He is so good to me. He knows with all that was going on I probably would of cracked if things went south with my daughters situations. He knows how much we can handle and I'm glad He steps in and takes over. I felt such a peace of God when I left that school. I knew everything was going to be fine. You have no idea what that meant to me. God did. Thank you Lord for bringing me peace in the midst of my storm. I needed it. Thank you to all who have been praying for me. I needed it. Love you all and God Bless..

Eternity means Everything....

I had a lot of time to think about how final death is over the weekend. I thought about my uncle who never believed God existed and even in the midst of his greatest struggle I would offer to pray for him and he would respond, "Please don't" Then I thought about how every day of his eternal life he would be reminded there was a God. I told my husband I could not imagine not believing in God. He has been so real to me and no matter what my uncle said I know he had moments of wonder about my God. I felt so grieved, not because we were so close, but because I know and understand his fate. I grieve for my aunt who does believe in God and lost her father and husband within minutes of each other. She would always ask me to pray in secret for my uncle because he wouldn't let us pray for him as he got sicker.
Then I thought about my grandpa and his sweetness. He would always give all of the grand kids $20 every time we saw him and every occasion he gave us a card with $40 or $50 bucks which was a lot 20 years ago! The tradition carried on with my child and the following generations. He was always kind to us. I never heard my grandfather yell or raise his voice at anyone. He would always cook for us when we came over and it was simply the best Filipino food I have ever tasted in my life. I still to this day crave his cooking. He had the greatest stories about his life and how he struggled and worked hard and reaped the benefits of his labor. I loved my grandpa. He would sing with my daughter "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine." He was 95 and in his old Filipino accent he would sing with her and they would smile together. It warmed my heart. He was so sensitive. My daughter adored him. Her "great" grandpa Bill...
Then I thought on Saturday night when I cried myself to sleep about Bro. Dansby's message. "Not good enough for heaven, but to good for hell"
That message was forever burned in my soul. He was Sis Nelson's dad and Pastor Nelson's pastor for many years. He preached about a man who was good in every way, but shunned the truth of Pentecost. I thought about my grandpa how good he was to everyone. Didn't drink or smoke or curse. He was a devout catholic. He would cry whenever I would pray for him., but he wasn't interested in My Jesus. It broke my heart to know he wasn't good enough for heaven, but without a shadow of a doubt he was and always will be to good for hell....

Reminder to Press...

Back to the wonder of it all. With all of the devastating things going on around us in this world and all the suffering our friends and family may be going through I have this glimpse of Jesus so clearly that makes the the world and all its misery seem dull. It makes the sickness and poverty fade. Knowing who He is and everything must bow under the Mighty Hand of God. It gives me sense of peace I have never known and the hope for a better tomorrow. Faith that God has everything under control. Even if it seems as though God is absent in certain present situations I have a strong security He is right in the midst of every storm. Great or small. God in all His infinite wonder holding our hand through it all.
Sunday I went to prayer with a couple of ladies in our church I cannot tell you what a unbelievable visit I had with Jesus. It has literally changed my whole perspective. It brought me back to a time when I used to spend a lot of time at the church in prayer. I cant even begin to explain what a love affair you can have with Jesus. It is so personal and so beautiful to have Him speak to you and love you and spend time with you. God spoke to me and said "I have been waiting for you" I just cant imagine the King of Kings waiting for me? It blows my mind. He blows my mind. It reminded me how small I am and how Great He is. It reminded me there is tremendous power in prayer. It reminded me of the anointed power you can tap into. It reminded me not to underestimate the strength of a three-fold cord. It reminded me that sacrifice breeds deliverance. It reminded me through travail we can pull down the strongholds of our city. It reminded me intercession can grasp Gods mercy when all hope is lost. It reminded me I can command angels to take charge over the enemy that preys on our children. It reminded me I can storm the gates of hell for souls hanging in the balance. It reminded me of God asking me to press in prayer to get breakthroughs....
A simple invitation reminded me of where I need to be every Sunday to get what I need and be blessed with what I desire. Thank you Sis T & T for sharing the glory of God with me. I could never thank you enough for reminding me to pray!!!! I love you both. Remind me Dear Lord.......

A call for PRAYER...

http://jenfernando.blogspot.com/
I have some great and wonderful things to share this week. First I need a favor. If you are here would you please stop and take a moment to pray for my friend Jen Fernando and her son Luke. He has liver cancer and is only 6 months old. They have been through so much in the last couple of weeks and they need for God to touch them in a special way. Here is some of what she wrote:
Tomorrow we go for another session of chemotherapy. This one can be done in the office, so hopefully all will go well and we will be back at home after the appointment. Then in seven more days he will have another. We are keeping a bag packed in the car for unforeseen delays. We had to hire a nanny to care for Levi in our absence. This is all part of our new normal. I catch myself looking back sometimes and thinking how simple life was before. I think about all the silly things that stressed me out or made me upset. Then I shake myself and look forward to the miracles that God is going to perform in Luke's life. We are so blessed, and take much for granted. All we can do right now is cross one hurdle at a time. I pray for the strength to make it over the next one. About every couple of days, I lose it and I sob uncontrollably. It can feel like too much and I can't stand to see my baby suffer. But once I have it out I feel a renewed strength and determination. Luke will be healed.
CHURCH FAMILY PLEASE PRAY! This family needs God to visit them in a special way today! God Bless and pass this on to everyone you know. There is power in prayer!!

Thursday August 7th 2008 Bro. Jones

Well, for me this was the night God did something for me that I still dont have the full revelation of. The Way Choir. They should be the WOW Choir. During their singing I just stood up and had to raise my hands in the air and give God the Glory. They sang where would I be without His Grace. Then they sang about His GRACE. By that time I was just lost in His Divine presence. I lost all conscious of who was around me and felt this electricity just buzzing all over me. I dont know how to explain it except to tell you my whole body was buzzing like vibrating under the power of the Holy Ghost. Freeway boys were awesome. I got a chance to talk to them and hear all about what they are doing for Jesus. They are blessed and anointed singers in our fellowship. The message by Bro Jones preached about allowing the supernatural to operate was absolutely invigorating to my soul. I began to understand why God has been waking me up and talking to me about miracles and giving me dreams. I got to see old friends Bro and Sis Emory are some of my favorite people. What an outstanding job he always does leading the music. He brings back all the oldies but goodies! Good to experience the powerful moves of God with so many others. There was such a powerful atmosphere with hundreds of saints united together in worship, at one point I felt as if Jesus was walking up and down the aisles of the tent. So inspiring to see my pastor and his wife being such an instrumental blessing to camp meeting. It was just amazing. I love camp meeting. My daughter loved children's church and that was definitely a highlight for us. My husband was touched and anointed and everything was just fabulous. I have more to share with you later. Storming the gates Part II coming soon. God Bless everyone.

Prayer for Luke

Please everyone pray for Sis Jen's son. His name is Luke and he is 6 months old and the doctors found a large mass on his liver. He is receiving chemo therapy and is expected to recover. Please pray for my friend Jen and her family during this very difficult time. There is power in prayer. I trust God to turn this into a glorious testimony. Jen is on my miracle believers list if anyone would like to read the updates on Luke.
Thank you family of God.

Its Jesus Time TODAY not tomorrow!

We are leaving tomorrow for Santa Maria.. Yeah!!!! I talked to my mom last night and I felt much better about what I wrote about yesterday. I guess in these last days we are going to be surprised by a lot of things. The most important thing is to keep the focus on Jesus.
Life keeps moving and souls are still lost and God is still saving the lost.
Prayer wins the battle. God will win the war.
There is nothing prayer cant conquer. God is in control and one way or another the decision will ultimately be made by God.
You know Ive been feeling the coming of the Lord is so soon. I was raised in this and Ive heard it preached. All of it. I have never felt it deep within my soul as I have for the past couple of months. Signs and wonders are here. Nations falling apart has happened. Disasters all over the world are in effect. Our own organization has been shaken. We are living in the rapture days. I know it.
I haven't touched the surface of what I desire to do for God. I keep saying I will when we move. I will when schools starts. I will when I have more time. I will, I will..... Tomorrow... Ill start tomorrow.
I am painfully aware no one promised me tomorrow. What if tomorrow never comes? What did I do for Him? My family is lost. My friends are still lost. I realize I can do so much more. I need to figure out how to adjust my own selfish schedule to give God more of my time.
Time to use me. Time to teach a bible study. Time to visit the neighbor who needs God. If I actually lived the desires in my heart you would think I was some great saint. But like faith without works I am dead. I say tomorrow Ill go see my friend and pray for her. Tomorrow Ill send out flyer's in my neighborhood for family prayer. Something Ive been wanting to do for years. Tomorrow Ill go to the church and pray for one hour every day. Tomorrow Ill be what you needed me to be yesterday Dear Lord.
As I sit here and sing that old song in my head,
[ Verse 1: ] Jesus said here I stand Won't you please let me in And you said I will, Tomorrow Jesus said I am he, Who supplies all your needs And you said I know But tomorrow [ Chorus: ] Oh Tomorrow, I'll give my life tomorrow I thought about today Oh but It's so much easier to say Tomorrow, Who promised you tomorrow, Better choose the lord today For tomorrow very well might be today [ Bridge: ] And who said, your tomorrow would ever come for you... Still you laughed and played and continued on to say [ Break: ] Tomorrow Forget about tomorrow Won't you give your life today Oh PLEASE Don't just turn and walk away Tomorrow, Tomorrow is not promised Don't let this moment slip away Oh, Your tomorrow could could very well begin TODAY
Lord please give me a few more tomorrows. There are so many I want to take with me. Forgive me for being selfish with my time...
We are not promised tomorrow so do it today..
Watch the video of this song to the right top of my blog. I pray it touches your soul as it does mine.

Looking for a presser

Sunday was a "great" service! Now I understand why God woke me up and spoke to me about murky waters and blocked vessels. Sunday morning I was standing in front of the mirror getting ready for church and I started to think about Israel and how my husband told me we should pray for them and how our prayers would be more blessed when we prayed for the people of Israel. I was thinking about that and I told God I wanted to hear someone preach about that and help me to have a better understanding about why we need to pray for them and what difference I could make.
Wouldn't you know pastor teaches about Israel and how they are in danger of being wiped off the face of the map thus giving me a vivid understanding of why I should pray for Israel and more specifically how to pray for them.
I write this today sitting here in amazement how personal my God is to me.
What are the odds I would ask something like that and get the answer directly from God the very same day. This has been happening a lot.
Then this pastor who came preaches to me about the very same thing God has been dealing with me about. Everything falls into place. Although I know God is able to do far above all I can think or ask it is still amazing to me how He makes it so personal for me. Sometimes I look for words to describe my love and appreciation I have for the Lord and I cant even begin to tell you. There are no words to express my heart full of thankfulness of who He is to me. He has given me an opportunity to live and tell others He is a MIGHTY HEALER, A GREAT DELIVERER, A HEART RESTORER, A SOUND MIND GIVER, AN EXCELLENT SOURCE OF STRENGTH and the Endless PROVIDER of POWER! I could go on and on.
I went to the alter and I didn't realize I was holding on to some bitterness of my own. I honestly didn't know it was there until I went up to the alter and I asked God to search the secret places in my heart and cleanse and wash them in His blood. When the preacher layed his hands on me and prayed for God to heal me God revealed to me I was holding on to some bitterness in my past and He was healing me from it. I thank God for that.
The heart is wicked and deceitful who shall know it?
Then God asked me if I would press for Him? I didn't fully understand and he began to explain to me there are prayers of a presser that can push through the walls satan builds against things or people. I quickly said yes and God spoke again and said "Noel" don't just say yes, I am asking for a commitment from you this day. A commitment to be a presser in prayer. It takes a lot more than you think to press through. You will be pressing through for the church the city for My will to be done.
I thought about how sometimes I can be praying so hard and I get tired and God reminded me it would be when I am tired is when he would expect me to press through. Press through the pain and the struggle. PRESS IN PRAYER. To push against the heaviness. Press until I can breakthrough.
I shared this with everyone who reads my blog because I need your prayers. I need you to pray God will move my family closer to the church. I have to get to the church more if I am going to be able to make this commitment. I need your prayers because on my own I wont be able to do it. I want to do this but I need the commitment in my heart. Please pray God will help me to commit my time to Him in prayer to press through to whatever He asks of me. Please keep me in your prayers while I allow God to prepare my heart for this journey.
My husband just called me and his boss gave Him time off to go to camp meeting!! Miracle! My boss also gave me time off. Neither one of us has vacation. I prayed for God to make a way and He did!
Why My Jesus is so very good to us I will never understand it. Every day it gets sweeter and sweeter to know Him. Lord I love you with all my heart and soul. Help me to commit myself in prayer as you have asked of me.
Thank you for healing my heart and for making my bitter waters sweet. Let the Cordova's be a well of Your sweet living water that when they come we can offer them the water of life...
Make me the presser in prayer You want me to be. I surrender...

Lead me to a Miracle!

I made my little plans for my day. My daughter was all set to meet with grandpa over breakfast and then go back for her yearly vacation up north with her horses and grandpa
Husband at work for the day. I had errands, wash and leisure time on my mind. I don't often get the day to myself so I was a little excited I'm a little embarrassed to admit!
So we all get in the car prepared to drop off my hubby and my favorite girl. We got about 2 miles down the road and there goes Marvin Sapp with his "Never would of made it" I can feel the tears coming on. I could feel the stirring begin to stir. There I went as we drove down the road as the burden unfolded itself to me I began to cry and speak in tongues. My husband just put his arm around me and prayed quietly as I kept driving. My daughter just stayed quiet as she has experienced this before. I just kept interceding for whoever or whatever and then it became clear in my mind who God had put on my heart.
I knew I had to go as God spoke to my heart to visit this friend of mine. I told my husband I had a change of plans and I had to go to San Jose and see my friend. He knew I was on a mission but asked who and why. I told him what God had given me and asked him to pray for me. He told me to go on and he would be praying. I thank God for my husband who understands what is happening to me.
I got there and just tried to stay sensitive. I followed where the Lord lead and when I got to where God wanted me to be it was somewhere I had never been, praying for a girl named Katrina I didn't even know. I took my friend with me and met another old friend of ours who introduced us to Katrina who was obviously a friend of God.. lol AMAZING!!!! Just amazing how God works. Its not about us. Its all about Him. He turned my whole day around for His will. I am so honored He invited me to spend the day with Him.
The laundry still got done and my errands waited and I got to spend the day with Jesus!! His agenda was so much more exciting than mine!!
Katina was excited that God had sent strangers from far and near to tell her He loved her and He had special plans for her life. I got to hear part of her testimony. The rest is yet to come. She has been delivered from drugs and alcohol and God has begun to heal this recently divorced 22 yr. old single mom and precious young woman's life. She was battling with condemnation and God sent us to pray for her and tell her that there is no sin to great for God to forgive. I don't know what all Jesus did for her, but I can tell you she knows now God is on her side. I had to share this miracle with you. We never know why God sends us and where we may end up sometimes but if you will just follow the leading of the Lord miracles will follow. Katrina could of been one step away from falling back into the pit where God had drug her out of? I don't know. I might never know. He knows and that's all that matters. Lead me Lord and I will follow. Lead me Lord and I will go. You have called me and I WILL ANSWER..Lead me Lord and I will go....
OHHH OHHH I almost forgot, on the way up there the weather was of course perfect but around noon it was just yucky hot. I LOVE salinas weather. I think thats about all I love about salinas. Anyway, I was leaving around 3:00pm and I knew there would be major traffic from the garlic festival and our air conditioner has been on the fritz! Well I got into our black hoter than h-e double hocky stix car and just for fun turned the air conditioner switch to on and lo and behold it worked!!!
So I got to drive home in the traffic cool as a cucumber! HA! In your face devil!!! lol It still works to. Just in time for camp meeting heat! Dont tell me my God is not good! He is Good ALL THE TIME! 2 miracles in one day!!!!!! I WILL SAY YES LORD. To your will and to your ways. Man I love my JESUS!

Wake up! Get up and Stand up!

It's 5am and Jesus is calling. I love when the Lord wakes me up to pray, but when I go back to sleep I would rather die than get out of the bed at 7am.
I am dog tired. (whatever that means) Pastor preached about a casual deadly spirit. I thought a lot about what he said yesterday and went to bed with a heavy heart.
God woke me up and I started to pray for Bro. Hurst and our ministry every aspect of it.
God started talking to me about the murky waters. I'm not sure what it all meant but, here goes... He said to me "What does darkness have to do with light?" "How can I flow through a blocked vessel?" God is holy just like pastor said. Random thoughts began to flood my mind. We are all riders going into this spiritual battle. I felt like the church has its hand on one reign and whatever our vice is has the other. Hollywood or whatever spirit we allow into our lives. The spirit of casualness. God needs us to allow Him to have both hands on the reigns. When we go into battle, we cant be distracted or sidetracked. You have to be focused and prepared. Battle is not a casual thing. If you are not prepared you will not make it out alive! You will die in the desert. My own personal experience when I allow hollywood to influence my family because I'm spiritually lazy costs me to have to fight harder to keep what God has for us. I don't want to have to chase the devil out of my house every day because I invite him in every day when I hit the "on" button on the remote of a TV. I heard a preacher say "Sure there are a lot of good and decent things on tv, but why are you going to dig through the garbage to find something good to eat?" That has always stuck with me. For me tv and video are the biggest robbers of our time. Time that we wouldn't invite Jesus to spend with us and no matter what excuse I try to make nothing about it edifies God. Hummmm??? Rapture happens Im occupied entertaining my flesh do I go or do I stay? I dont want to half to wonder. I know I want to go.
I thought about how careful Pastor was dealing with certain issues and something rose up inside of me and I said to my husband my pastor doesn't have to make it comfortable for us to grace the pew. It is an honor and a privilege to be where we are. When did we arrive at this place in pentecost when we got to pick and chose what standard we were going to accept from the man of God? He is there to lead and guide our souls to heaven. If it takes him to tell us chuck your tv because its polluting your soul then so be it.
Id rather him offend my spirit for a moment and allow me to pray through than spend eternity in hell and let it slide. I know I will probably offend someone but you know what I am so stirred up in my spirit to stand up and say we are not going to slide by into the kingdom of God. We are not going to get to heaven doing it half way or by what feels comfortable to us. Even if we don't agree with every standard obedience is better than sacrifice. My God there are people dying in foreign lands preaching the word of God who don't even have a paper to read let alone tv. They have nothing but God. There are missionaries that give up everything including their lives sometimes to do the work of God. The people they pastor would do anything to be saved and we complain or murmur about all the things we cant do. I know there are certain men that dictate and God is a God of love but, God is also a God of holiness and righteousness. Its not about us, its about Him. God help me to get a submissive spirit to whatever standard You give. Help me to welcome whatever direction God gives to guide my soul. Help me to desire a higher standard for my family that draws us closer to You Lord. Don't let me be like the chameleon of this world and desire to blend in to fit in. I dont mean to sound preachy. Something just got a hold of me and I just needed to write it down.
Thank you Pastor for standing up and drawing a line in the sand. I want to stand behind you so when the waves come I wont be swept away. STAND FOR SOMETHING OR YOU WILL FALL FOR EVERYTHING!

Selling Out

Happy Medium??? Who ever gets that? Feast or famine. Hard or soft. Up or down. Right or get left right? That's how it is most of the time for me. Faith or forget it! lol Sometimes that happy medium seems unreachable. Ive never been one of those middle of the road people. You will get ran over if you stand there.
All or nothing. I'm not one to want to see the gray area . Black or white. It is what it is so move forward! Be a sinner burn in hell. Live for God be sold out and we get to hear those longed for words "Welcome in my good and faithful servant"

I think I might need to pray for balance huh? Hot or Cold. That's what I want to be on fire for Jesus. Sold out!!! Its like I want my inner switch to be permanently turned on. I don't want anyone or anything to be able to flip my switch off. The light so to speak to continually burn. I don't want to settle for happy medium, I want it all. All that Jesus will give me. The greatest desire than I have ever imagined I could have. The most anointed church and choir and youth group and outreach ministries in our church. We have these awesome moves of God and they are so precious and I feel blessed, but there is so much more. That is only the surface of what God has to show us. We have the ability to tap into such a supernatural atmosphere it would blow our minds. I want to experience higher heights and deeper depths in my personal relationship with God.

I have such a long way to go and God only knows if I can ever get there.
There is a message by JW Garrison called "Selling Out" I wonder what it could be like to have a church full of sold out people. When the pastor didn't have to fight through the carnality to get us not to be distracted by the impressions hollywood tainted in our minds. When the music leaders didn't have to push to get through the flesh of our casual spirits.
I long for that in my soul. Yet I am guilty of being distracted or being spiritually lazy. I want to discover the path that leads to being sold out. Where nothing else matters but Jesus. I know I first have to nail myself to the cross. OUCH... There is a price to pay. I'm just thinking out loud here.
Lord tell me what it takes to be sold out because I know its so much more than what I think....

Our Cross is our Crown

Well my glory cloud has burst. I'm headed back down to the valley. It was a great and awesome trip. It always amazes me how those closest to you are so eager to escort you to the valley. Bro. Nathaniel preached a message on Sunday, " Does the devil know your name?" It feels like he recites mine in his sleep. lol I realize God allowed me to learn something new and powerful to keep me when my storm comes. Tried by the fire to come out as pure gold. That reminds me of the tea cup story. The fire can get so hot it seems unbearable and the molding of our clay can be so uncomfortable. Back to the potter's wheel. I have to broken again.
We are at our best when we are broken. Being broken is such a hard place to reach and such a painful process. Its hard to see the outcome is beauty. I remember telling a pastor friend of mine one time " Your cross is your crown" He smiled at me and said "Sis Noel I cant wait for that crown this cross is killing me.." I often prayed for Him and His wife and I still do. I always thought about the crosses we all carry. Especially the ministry. I know it seems from the outside looking in so picture perfect but I know from the burdens God has placed upon me their crosses our much bigger and heavier. To much given, much is required. It is so important to pray for your pastor and his wife and their children. We don't know what they go through to be who they are. I'm not sure why I am saying this, but God changed my venue half page down. Our ministry pays the highest price to get what we benefit from in the kingdom of God. They experience the hardest struggles and deepest attacks of the enemy. If the devil can get them to compromise or get depressed how can they effectively lead the body? We can only have great revival if first revival is ignited in the heart of the ministry. Miracles and the supernatural can only dwell in the midst of a pastor who God has breathed the gift of FAITH on first. How did I arrive here? OK Lord, Your words not mine. I feel to encourage everyone who reads this to pray a little more for your pastor and his wife today. Go a little deeper, reach a little higher for them. Pray and intercede for their children. Those children fight harder than any children to keep the blessings of God on their life. The responsibility of the whole church is huge. I think about how I worry and pray so hard just to keep my own little family saved, IMAGINE the responsibility of the man of God. The responsibility for all of our SOULS... I couldn't imagine. I think sometimes I take for granted our ministry as a whole, how much they put into us. How high the cost is for them to pay. They need our prayers and support and unconditional love. They may disappoint you because they are human. But they are who God appointed to be over us. Our umbrella from the rain. There is safety there. They are our spiritual leaders, sometimes its difficult to keep up the image, but thank God they do!! I never had to see Sis Nelson lose her composure or be a hypocrite. She always was a faithful, steadfast, dependable christian example, who never wavered. I'm sure at home her children got to see a side of her we never did. I thank God for that. Because there are times I know she was going through hell on earth or suffering through one of the many trials in her walk with God, but she was there with a smile, with a praise, with love for the people. How could she do that if there were not saints of God holding her up in prayer? That doesn't come naturally. Believe it!! Well I don't know why I said all this. I'm not trying to make brownie points I just have such a love and burden for our ministry. That doesn't come naturally. I thank God for the love and respect He gave me for them. God puts them on my heart. I wouldn't do it on my own if He didn't. Pray like you never have for those who lead you. God will do a work like we have never seen in these last days. They are going to need a supernatural strength to save our cities and birth a mighty revival. So pray saints of God and get ready for battle. God is coming soon and we need to ready! Our ministry goes before us that is why we must pray for them the most!

Give me the Heart of David...

I wish I could put into words how I feel inside my heart. I have been walking around in this glory cloud bursting with FAITH. I don't know what to do with it all. Mostly because it's something I have never experienced and I lack understanding.
It feels like I have tapped into this incredible power but I'm not sure quite what to do with it. I know God is allowing me to experience this and I am just trying to hard to figure it out. The supernatural and the miraculous don't make sense. Not to any of us ever. I feel so honored just to feel what I do. I have been crying on and off for a few weeks. I feel God's presence so close to me. Closer than ever before. The thing that touches me the most is there is no one who deserves it less than me. I guess the biggest thing I struggle with is trying to figure out why God would invest such an awesome revelation of anything to me?? (Blows my mind.. ) I know there isn't anyone worthy. It still amazes me He even knows my name after all I have put Him through He just blots out my past with His Grace and tender Mercy every day. I guess I should just stop trying to figure out the King of Kings and Lord of Lords because He is just beyond my comprehension. I am just going to have to learn to accept the reality that He used a donkey why not me? lol Yes I do esteem myself higher than a donkey. Not by much!! lol :) He used the foolishness of preaching to confound the wise sooooo He is on the throne. I just want to thank you Lord for the blessings that I don't even deserve. I serve a mighty Big God who loves us beyond who we are and sees the potential of who we can be in Him. I am so richly blessed. I feel so privileged to have this great truth and honor and serve Him with great joy! He deserves all the GLORY and all the PRAISE all the time.. I am so in awe of who my Savior reveals Himself to be to me in my life. What an opportunity He has given me to be a vessel to be used for whatever and whenever He chooses me to be His Hands or His Feet or His Mouthpiece. Ill never understand what He sees in me, but I sure am thankful that I know Jesus Loves me. That means everything to me.. I only pray I would be pleasing in His sight. I will fall short most of the time, but I want to have a heart after the Heart of God. That is my desire today...

Holy Ground

I went to LA over the weekend with my best friend. We went to Church in Lancaster. What a move of God we had. I missed our church service. I heard they had a move of God as well. :) My best friend is dating the music minister of that church. He asked us to sing Sunday morning.
He sings as well. We sang that old song "We are standing on Holy Ground" They know the verses to it. We started to sing and the anointing started to fall. The pastor's wife just started weeping and everyone started weeping. We all started speaking in tongues and the healing power of God came down into that place and began to minister. It was so powerful! I have often experienced this wave of powerful anointing when it flows through a congregation. I love it.. When we went to lunch with Bro George and another saint they said they had never had an a move of God like that in their church. I was shocked and thought my God I am so blessed. The church I come from and the one I'm in now often have these Divine visitations. I realized how I take for granted something so precious and rare to some people. To have the anointing of God dwell in the church and have demonstrations of the power of God in this dimension is a privilege not a normal every day occurrence. We are so spoiled by our Jesus. I sit here and think what is point of going to church if you are not going to have a move of God or feel His anointing?? There are churches everywhere who do not experience God like this on a regular basis. I never realized that. We are sooooooo extremely blessed. I need to covet this honor God has given to us. He has allowed us to be in His Divine presence standing on Holy Ground with angels all around. What a beautiful place to stand. Thank you Lord for coming to church with us and allowing us to minister to this church and be used to usher in a Divine visitation of His healing power... Let us praise Jesus now... For we are standing in His presence on Holy Ground!!!!

ROCK A BYE BABY...

I read a story that touched my heart today and it reminded me of a story of my own. Since my daughter Analycia was tiny I would rock her and tell her I would rock her like a baby til she was 18. Its one of our little things. I read that book "Love you Forever" It is a childrens story that made me cry like a baby. If you have never read it, get it! It is a treasure. You will understand my story better to.
About once a week or at least every two weeks my daughter will crawl up in my lap and tell me to rock her like a baby. I do. We both love it for different reasons. The other day I was so tired and she comes running into the room and proceeds to wiggle her way into my lap and I said, "Honey Im so tired not right now, in a few minutes, let me take a shower" She looked up at me as tenderly as she does and says, "But mommy you said you would rock me like a baby til I was 18?" Dont you know I rocked that baby 7 year old until she got her fix of me and moved on.
She melts my heart every time that girl. Then I thought about how Im not gona be able to rock her much longer like that because when she is 12 Im sure she will have a whole new perspective on being rocked by mommy. Lol
Im glad I stoped for the 2 minutes to meet her need and give me a fresh perspective on how every little rock counts....

Mountain Top moments of glory...

Bro Winslow is coming on the 9th 10th 11th and 12th. Thursday and Friday I will be there to witness the miracles of God. He will be in San Jose at Pastor Nelsons church..I'm very excited although I feel like I'm in camp meeting every time I go to my own church. I remember growing up in Bro Nelson's church and my pastor now would come and preach. I'm telling you Pastor Hurst would tear up jack.. Poor Jack. Man if you have never heard the message about Benji or the guacamole message, Brother you have missed out. We have a revival, camp meeting, general conference, because of the times, preacher for a pastor!! Don't be jealous its a sin!! lol I just have to say I have not been so excited to live for God in a long time if ever this excited. I have this "huge" expectancy of great things to happen. I know we don't always live on top of the mountain, but I made it up there today. Everything is so beautiful up here. The presence of God is so close to me up here. I am enjoying my moments of glory and wonder. God is just so awesome to me. Words could never explain how He makes me feel. Ill be back down to the valley again and I appreciate those trips as well because its where I learn and grow. I have to say though I am enjoying this peak for a season. I can just stand still and let God be everything He is to me. I feel so blessed. So privileged to know the Lord. My road has been long and hard and sometimes turbulent. These times of rest for my soul are priceless and precious to me. Its almost like being at the foot of Calvary. I feel like I can ask God for anything and He would do it. God I pray you would place your Divine favor on my family and my church in Jesus name.... That's my prayer today.. For all of you reading this wanting to pop my glory cloud don't worry Ill be back down to the valley in no time. These mountain top experiences are few and far between for me so I'm going to enjoy every second while I can. THANK YOU JESUS for the mountain top experiences and the valleys. I love you...

Pray for you... Ill pray for me...

I was praying on the way to work this morning. I realized it is so important to pray for ourselves. Something had brought back some bad memories and it made me remember what God had brought me from and I prayed " God never let me forget" I would rather God take my life than ever allow me to fall back into where I was. God delivered me from such sin. It is truly amazing. Sometimes we have to pray for ourselves. God keep me in the hour of temptation. Hold me when I feel weak. Protect me from all I cannot see or hear. Hold my hand through the hard times. Guard me from the enemy of my soul. My greatest prayer is " Lord let me not be deceived" "Let me not deceive my own self" I want to stay on the right path. I want to be pleasing in His sight. I need to pray for me because I need to keep a right spirit. I need to pray for me because I need His grace to be sufficient in my life. I need to pray for me because I need to reflect the love of Jesus to others. I need to pray for me because I need Him the most. Before I can love my husband as a christian wife needs to love her husband. Before I can love my child and be the christian example I desire to be. Before I can be a good saint and do the work of God. I have to pray for me. I need His strength. I need His power. I need His faith. I need His guidance. I need to pray that I make it everyday so that I can pray for others who need God to. I wrote this because I realized I am always praying about everyone and everything else and not enough for my own self. I felt a check in the Holy Ghost today about that. I felt a danger in forgetting about myself. Praying for others and issues of life is important and needed, but not more important than my own soul. I have to make it first. Then I can be strong for everyone and everything else. So don't forget to pray for yourself today! You are important! God needs you to pray for you!!!

JUNE 29TH2008

My daughter got baptized today. About 15 of my family members came. Our close friends also attended. It was the first time a couple of them had ever been to a pentecostal church. Everyone enjoyed hearing Bro. Hurst. I was a little nervous but after awhile I said to myself, "Thank God they are hearing the truth from someone besides myself."
My daughter looked like an angel. She is so beautiful. My pastor prayed over her before he baptized her and that meant a lot to me. Now I just need everyone to pray she gets the holy ghost very soon. It is because of my daughter that I am even in church today. I had left for awhile and I told myself there is no way I can raise this little girl without the hand of God on her life. I need God even if it is for her to be saved. She saved my life from being totally shattered. There is not a day that goes by I don't thank God for her. My prayer is that God will help me to be the christian example she needs me to be. One of my greatest desires is to have her covet my prayers as I do my mothers. My mother may have made a lot of mistakes with us growing up, but if there was anything I knew for sure is she could pray and when she prayed things would happen. I thank God that He allowed me the desire to pray like my mother. I know God has a special anointing on my mothers prayers just like Bro. Winslow said. I cherish her prayers and one day I want my daughter to cherish mine. I'm so glad I know Jesus.

What do your words breed?

Robert Louis Stevenson:
There is so much good in the worst of us. There is so much bad in the best of us. It behooves all of us not to talk about the rest of us...
I loved that.. I read it on someone else's blog thus inspiring me to write about something that often causes us to fall.
There is always someone who has to waste air on non-productive conversation. It is sad but true when there is so much good to talk about we reduce ourselves to breed harm upon other with our words.
We stand in judgement of someone. We give our negative opinion. Worse we just open our mouth and wound our brother and our sister without reason or cause.
If we stoped and thought about the effect of our words on other's, would it stop you? Gossip and rumors or repeating someones past which is under the blood is not only a sin, but a place I don't want to stand in.
Lord let me see the good and see past the fault and see the need. That is my prayer. It brings tears to my eyes when I think about the things people have repeated or said that caused my brother or my sister pain, suffering, wounds and worst of all bitterness to be born in their hearts. Bitterness kills souls. Only God can heal the wounds of bitterness.
It can take years to repair the damage your mouth created in one minute.
I pray when you read this if you have been a victim of harsh words by anyone the best thing you can do is forgive them. It is the hardest thing to do. In the word it says to pray for them that spitefully use you and speak all manner of evil against you. PRAYER WORKS!
Ive done it. Don't lose your salvation or let someone rob you of your salvation over bitterness. God's good to you, far out weighs any hurtful words anyone could have ever spoken about you.
Remember, its all about you and Jesus. Let people talk. They always will. Sing with me, Be careful little mouth what you say, be careful little mouth what you say, theres a Father up above looking down with tender love, so be careful little mouth what you say....
The next time you go to waste air by polluting it with poisen about someone else, do us all a favor and save your breath!!! Use your words to encourage and uplift not to tear down. Speak peace, love, kindness and hope. Lord when I open my mouth let it be You that they hear. Let your words breed life not death!

MIRACLE DREAM

Sooooooo, I had a dream the other night. Before I went to sleep I gave God a minuit challenge. I asked him to let me hear a piano and music in my sleep. God had been dealing with me for a good week about faith. I told God in my ignorance. You can do ANYTHING right??? Well I want to hear music Ive never heard while I dream.. lol God must laugh at me sometimes. I go to sleep and dream of this lady sitting on a bench with no legs. I turned around as if to avoid her. I felt this surge of the Holy Ghost. I was thinking in my mind in the dream, I should tell this lady God is going to heal her. I wanted to lay hands on her, but I was afraid nothing would happen. I wanted to tell her God could make her walk again, but I didn't want to sound crazy. Then I just told myself, HEY you have nothing to lose and she has everything to gain. Just say it... I turned around to tell her God could heal her and she already had legs!!!!! I was speechless... Then around the corner in the next room was a church service going on and I knew in my dream I was supposed to tell the people about what God had just done and tell everyone there God still heals. I realized then in the middle of my dream I was dreaming and I knew I could do it because I could do ANYTHING in my dream. Fear left me and I went up to the pulpit and I couldn't speak English. I just started speaking in tongues. Then all of the sudden Everyone started singing with me a song I had never heard before. The keyboard and music just like I asked God to do for me, As if He couldn't.. I woke up just in a state of awe. I don't know what God is preparing me for, but I'm so excited and nervous all at the same time. Can you imagine being able to see a miracle in front of your eyes. I know a lot of people have. I haven't and I feel so awesomely blessed to know God is going to allow me to be a part of something supernatural that people aren't going to believe. I am so small. he is so GREAT... So POWERFUL... Dare to believe God for the miraculous.. He will rise to the occasion. FAITH MOTIVATES THE MIRACLE!!!!Get some!!!!!
